What a pity Ed, you missed a great documentary. I think that the Chris Tarrant got quite a surprise with the Australian train 'The Ghan'. But I was quite surprised and impressed with the 'Monsoon Railway' down the west coast of India.

Yes its probably the best of the bunch that I have seen on the Ghan over the years.

Driven and flown all over this great country of ours and still find it hard to believe just how big Australia is.
The Ghan trip isn't as long as the Trans Siberia mind. Now that is a long way to have to travel….
