Brilliant,  takes me back to my schoolboy days.  I grew up in London and used to go spotting at the Cross amongst other locations.  I remember the trolleybusses as well.  There used to be a really good model railway shop nearby, if I remember right it was on York Rd.

Pure magic - really brings back some memories . I didnt visit Kings Cross many times back then but one notable trip was when we travelled up from the west country to catch the sleeper from Kings X to Aberdeen (The Aberdonian ?) and the excitement was terrific when an A4 backed on to the train to take us as far as Edinburgh.

Just remember the trolleybuses and I think there were a couple of model shops nearby  - was Bonds in Euston Road there then ?
