Really took me back .
So nice to see a shot of one of the Beattie tanks on a clay working and an express going through Shap with a single milk tank tacked on the back of the passenger coaches . I think I also recognised a Prairie coming to a halt at Frome but it may have been one of the other Brunel stations with an overall roof . I wonder if Alan Pegler had any clue as to all the headaches he was going to get with 4472 in the future but he was certainly enjoying the moment.
The music was great - one of my "claims to fame" is that Uncle Mac once played the Dambusters March for me on Childrens Favourites around 1952
Richard. A sorely missed member who lost a brave battle in 2012.

Like the other guys I had a walk down Memory Lane and it made me wish I could go back in time just for 10 minutes to see it all again. Alas that cannot be but this was a good substitute. Even the music was evocative and my favourite British light classic tune i.e. Coronation Scot, the theme to Paul Temple, had me mentally holding my notebook and pencil and wondering whether we were in for a quiet period so I could eat my sarnies and drink my pop. Happy days.:thumbs

Were they "good days" or did they just seem that way before we had more than we know what to do with ?
