I see Gresley's A4 "streak" No 60009, Union of South Africa is to be retired early due to boiler problems.

She was to have retired at the end of the year but a new problem with boiler tubes is considered unviable to repair so her withdrawal has been brought forward.

Another bit of railway history that unfortunately,  won't be seen in steam again.
