Gresley teak suburban ideal, but..

You might recall that one of the coaches I'm working on building is based on a 1923 Gresley suburban brake coach. You might also recall that I like to do interiors. And that's where I've hit a bit of a snag.

I've tried various search terms the past couple days, but I haven't been able to find a good reference image of a suburban brake coach's baggage area; the only good baggage area images I've been able to find were from corridor coaches.

I do know from the drawings that my particular choice of coach has what appear to be bins of some sort just inside the baggage doors, but that's about it.

So, I turn to asking here in the hopes that at least one member has a solid reference image for the inside of a suburban brake coach's baggage area.

Hi Zelda

The man of LNER coaching stock is Steve Banks.  I don't think he has a presence here but it might be worth trawling through a few other forums to see if you can contact him.  Not only will have the answer, he will have photographic evidence, coach numbers, guard's names and addresses, OK, you get the idea!!

I tried asking him, but I think I blew it thanks to my endless talent for unwitting rudeness…

All I really need to know is what measures, if any, a non-corridor suburban brake coach would have had in place to restrain baggage in the van area.
