Given my fiction for Bradford Wheregate I would have to go for mid 60s West Riding of Yorkshire, NE region, if only to balance out the Green, Wobbly and Rusty brigade who seem to get everywhere, though not necessarily on time! I'm with petermac and froggy on this. Best go and get my coat now.

I'll not rise to the bait, not even to the jibe about what the initials GWR could mean :!:  :!:
It's just envy anyway, so I'll sit here feeling smug :!:  :!:

And it's good to see members posting comments, especially those who don't post every day   ….
however misguided and innacurate the comments are :!:  :!:

Well there's not much doubt about where most people's loyalties lie is there. GWR/BR Western Region it is. Might be a different story of course if the choice was between the BR Regions only, leaving the steam era out of it.

I'd still like to see a few more votes in order to get a clear picture.
I can't believe there's only 29 active contributors on this forum :!:  :!:

Neil, this is unfortunately a fact with forums, - while there are many members, I think a big majority of them only read topics that they are interested in & thus may only visit every so often - not like some of us who are regulars.

I even sent a PM to a new member who has been deleted due to inactivity, he would have been advised via his e-mail notification & got no response.
So even if Bob could generate an e-mail to go to all at the same time, I do not think that you would get any extra responses - well you may the first time.

You can lead a horse to water but cannot make him drink :!:

That's right Ron,  It tends to be people who have strong feelings on an issue or those who enjoy doing polls that vote on issues.
