Phill, the time in Preferences is not a real time, only a format that you can chose for display elsewhere within the forum.

Where do you see the time you post? At the top of your post after posting?

That can only come from either within the forum or your internal computer clock!

It is now 1.25PM my time when I post this .

Now that would have been a total disaster and would certainly have made a Godolphin cross!!!

I think you may need to get a firmer reign on this before it all gets out of hand:twisted:

Well, here's my two cents worth. Why does this thing default to a [1] size font? That looks too small to me as I type. And [3] seems the right size but I have to ask for a [2] and then change it to a 3 to get the 3.So, what is everyone using as a default font size?

Now that that's off my chest, Bob I have only been on this new site for a couple of days, but I can tell you, I really like it! It has a modern look to it and most of all, I like the thought that all the data here is now protected. An awfully lot of work goes into all these posts, and I for one would not want to jeopardize losing it.
It just goes to show everyone, We have the right guy at the top! :doublethumb :doublethumb :doublethumb

Wayne, the reply while typing looks small bit & so does the preview but once posted, the size is defaulted to 2 which is a good size.

Try it & see - I have not checked the quick reply but will do so now.

Couldn't be more pleased that you like the new forum Wayne. There has been a lot of input from the members and it is more or less how we want it now. Let me know of course if there is anything bugging you.

What is bugging me Bob, has absolutely nothing to do with you or this forum. Only my inadequacies in getting my room built. Care to make a trip over the pond and give me a hand?:wow:wow:wow

Sol,
Thanks for the tidbit, didn't realize that it changed once posted.
