I know I had this poll on the previous forum but it is a good source of information for me so I would ask all members to choose one of the options once more. Thanks everybody.

Bob, I was definitely browsing the internet, but I just really cannot remember if it was from the Barchester web site or not. Remember what I said about getting old and one's memory?

I arrived here after a very kind invitation from Bob following a discussion about certain kind of "gentlemen's health problems".   :?

(He didn't know what he was letting himself in for!   )

I found the original forum when browsing the web for background on Anthony Trollope and his books about the fictitious place Barchester!  At the time I was re-discovering model railways.  What a chance find.  I never looked back.

(Come to think of it I never found those notes :?  :?  :? )

I've ticked "via the Barchester Forum", which was the closest I could get.
I only actually joined after emailing Bob about another matter and being invited to join because "we could do with one or two experianced modellers".
The rest, as they say, is history :!:

What a question to ask & me only being a newbie - I can honestly say ( like a politician) , that I cannot remember how I came across this forum.

I  am also in other forums plus with many e-mail friends,my only excuse is that I must be getting 'Oltimers problems.

Like my shopping list, if I do not write it down, it won't get purchased. Some people wander down each aisle looking at the food but me, I go straight to the aisle/s concerned, pick what I need & get out of the supermarket.
Sorry, deviated from the OP. won't ever happen again
