A few pictures of St Pancras - mainly the roof at the request of Allan Downes. Producing the ironwork must have kept the Butterley Company busy for a while.

Beautiful photos David.I must be a luddite because as far as architecture is concerned i think we should have stayed in the victorian era.

An interesting coincidence about the steelwork arches at St Pancras is that they were produced at Butterley Foundary Derbyshire, where the Midland Railway preserved line is.

The name can be seen in the metalwork on the 8th photograph.

Thanks David, as usual, stunning photography and to think, there was once talk of knocking the whole station down.

And wasn't I pleased that when I was asked to build it in O Gauge the gentleman changed his mind - after I had got all the drawings in which led to many sleepless nights !!
