N gauge platform widths

Scale widths

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the scale width for an N gauge platform, mainline or branch line.

Just had a look for N gauge handbook and came up with this :

It states 12.4mm depth or 25.74 for an island platform, these are minimum sizes. From this you can adjust to suit the site, appearance and what the platform has to accommodate in the way of facilities, buildings etc.

Connor.  I quote from 'Requirements for Passenger Lines and Recommendations for Goods Lines' published 1950:

"The minimum clear width of any platform throughout its length to be 6 feet.  At important stations the width to be not less than 12 feet, except for short distances at either end in any case of difficulty.  With island platforms, the minimum width for an adequate distance on each side of the centre of the length to be 12 feet."
