HO modelling to the next level and beyond...

This HO scale layout has caught my eye before and now again this morning. So I thought I'd better share the stunning modelling and attention to detail. It may have been posted up previously, but it is always worth a second and third look !

http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/12298 Enjoy.

Cheers, Gary.

As a long time subscriber to this site, I was impressed, but then someone, it might have been the builder asked for any  critiiques.

I replied that the lack of catenery in the electrical cables was about all I could think of, and I think someone else agreed. It is damn good modelling, there's plenty more on this site, too.

Some of my card modelling went down well here, it is not a very well supported medium in the U.S. where plastic and strip-wood seem to rule.

I have had an article  accepted  for publication  in the latter part of the year, the submission conditions are pretty  stiff, naturally I wanted to show card as a modelling  medium, but a 'U.S. outline' was required and I had fun researching a subject,an 1890s saloon.

If you like something different, interesting and informative then it is a great site to join for free.

I too am a long time subscriber and have every issue stored locally for reference.

There are some very interesting techniques for scenery both in the issues and on the forum.
