Another great bit of modelling but I think a couple of those pictures show very nicely how what is basically a simple layout can be heavily disguised by filling in the middle of the board with great eye catching models.

my understanding is, and it's what Bob said but just a bit more detail,  HO for scale, n for narrow gauge and 3 for 3ft, which, and this is why they do it, works out as approx 9mm or n gauge track.
