Some excellent modelling and ideas can be found on these HO gauge model railways. Only slightly different to our own scale, 3.5mm as apposed to 4mm. Anyhow, different or not enjoy the links as some of the photographs are truly inspiring.

************************************

Bear Creek & South Jackson : Shows the progress of this railway over three different layouts.

Bear Mountain Southern Pacific :The the Bear Mountain Southern Pacific (B.M.S.P) railroad is a fictitious railroad modelling the upper west coast of North America in the years 1945 to 1975. It runs point to point from Lentown to Curtisville with twenty towns on the route.

Belfast & Vinehaven : Yet another great American model with the very high standard we expect.

Franklin and South Manchester Railway : This is a 23 foot by 42 foot H0 layout and is the work of George Sellios. Really great photographs for you to admire.

Hoosac Valley Railroad : Beautiful modelling and photography on this great American model railway.

Hudson Point & Hawthorne Railroad : A 'point to point' layout with the option of continuous run.

Utah Colorado Western :   A large USA layout. Plenty of information and great photographs.

Waldberg : Quite a large Marklin layout depicting Germany in the sixties.

Bob…I think this layout,The M-K & Eastern RR Harbour Branch, is really worth seeing but the only link I can find on it is the owner Micheal Graffs' build thread from Andys RmWeb forum
here is the direct link, why don't you review it and if you think its appropriate then perhaps you could place it where you think best.
Cheers
Gene

Some great layouts there Bob. :thumbs  Studying the photos is well worthwhile for both ideas and methods.

I did find 3 bad links :

Crossroads - Pinewood & Rockhaven

Pine Canyon Railroad

North River Railway

Maybe you could check them out sometime.

I suppose they're OK Tony.

Maybe he could learn something from my module thread ……………….:cool wink

His Chicago layout idea is roughly what I'd like to do in my US outline "plank" - i.e. make the railway a part of the town scene rather than the town a part of the railway scene.  Brilliant modelling and an amazing attention to detail.  I wonder if he scratchbuilt the cars ?

Peter - I have deleted those as they were obviously dead links. pity, some good ones there.

Gene - That link can stay where it is as it's part of the same topic but is a direct link to Andy's RMweb which we have permission to use so that's OK.

Tony - Jon Grant does some amazing work, thanks for the link.

Some really fantastic work there Bob.

We've had that link somewhere on here within the last couple of days…………:roll:

Did Tony post it somewhere else I wonder ?  Certainly I've seen the photos before in that format.

The Trainboard link covers most of his work over the years. There are more than a thousand pictures there.
