Ardson : Exhibition layout from the Preston & District Model Railway Society.
Arkley Old Town : A DCC layout inspired by Blackpool North in Lancashire in the BR blue days.
Arne Wharf :  One of my favourite layouts and one of the destinations from Barchester.

B.
Bash Street :   Very nice mainly industrial model.
Beaumont : A ficticious two station exhibition layout.
Blackmill :   Portrays the privatised railway operations around the North-West of England in the last couple of years.
Blair Atholl : A layout of the Highland main Line in Scotland. Beautiful pictures.
Bleakhouse Road :    Another great site by Tim Maddocks. Same comments as above.
Botleigh :   Modelled closely on the actual station of Botley, between Eastleigh and Fareham.
Brighton In The Attic : Loft layout with some nice photographs.

C.
Chessington Chalk Lane :   One for the Southern Railway enthusiasts.
Clay Lane : By Ian Wheelock. Modelled on the 1950's to the late 1960's. It's on the exhibition circuit.
Combwich :   Based on the final 10 years of steam.
Cutlers Lane :   Imaginary location in an urban industrial modern imgage setting, post 2000.

Doncaster : Peter Mitchell's well detailed modern image layout set on the UK's east coast. This is a sponsored site so to skip the advert click on the 'Skip Ad' link in the top RH corner.
Doveford : Represents a small West Country branch terminus of the Great Western Railway during the mid 1930's.
Dunmore & Fidlin :   An Irish layout in 4mm scale.
Dunwich & Old Sarum : A professionally made layout with helpful remarks on kit used.

EM Gauge Layouts : This link will take you to a page where you have a choice of 9 EM layouts to look at. Some very fine modelling in this 4mm finescale section.
Engine Wood :   Nice photographs and loads of information from Tim Maddocks. Good construction pictures too.
Easington Lane : A fictitious secondary railway route in the north east. EM gauge.

Farkham : Built to fine scale 16.5mm gauge standards. A fictitious suburb of the Stoke-On-Trent conurbation.

Hayling Island : 4mm scale layout in P4 finescale.
Hinton Parva :   4mm 00 gauge. Some nice photographs.
Holmeworth :   EM gauge based on a medium sized town in the conurbation of West Yorkshire.
Hollybrook :   4mm 00 gauge modern image layout.

Jane's Garden Railway : A 00 gauge garden railway with loads of very useful information and very nice pictures.

Kilmarlock : David Palmer's 13' by 9' layout set in a fictitious area with a Scottish theme.

Langton Green : A professionaly made layout with helpful remarks on kit used.
Little Glenmore :   A Photobucket site of one of our very own Barchester Forum members. Great photographs and plenty of atmosphere.
Littleton :   A large club and exhibition layout.

Melrose End :   Another one from Rainhill MRC. Steam era, end-to-end station and goods.
Mostyn : This is an 18.83mm P4 layout of the Barrowmore Model Railway Group.
Much Meddling : A fictitious Great Western finescale model railway built to 4mm/foot scale and 18.83mm gauge. Well worth looking round the whole site.

New Bryford : A modern image layout in north west England.
New Haden : An "EM" gauge end-to-end model reflecting mainly industrial practice.
Not Walsall :   Showing what can be done among the beams of a loft. Measuring 40' by 10' on two levels.
Norwood Park :   Modern image DCC controlled.

Oldshaw : Another EM gauge layout depicting a Western Region branch line in the 1970's.

Pendon Museum : Some of the best modelling you will see anywhere.
Penhallick : A fictitious north cornwall line, great photographs.

Robert's Garden Railway : Another 00 gauge garden railway. No shortage of space in the great outdoors.

Shedley :A 4mm model railway whose time scale is the early to mid 1960's. Very helpful photographs of how things were done.
Sheep Pasture :  Photographs only from a member of the Scalefour Society.
Sheffield Park : Part of the Bluebell Railway. Layout being built in Canada.
Shenston : EM gauge freight operations in the early 1970's in the West Midlands.
Simon Reynold's Garden Railway : Yet another 00 gauge outdoor layout. Still under construction but plenty of photographs.
Southampton Maritime : Currently under construction but well worth looking at for the modern image modeller.
Southlands Junction : A loft based largely modern image layout.
Strathallan Junction: Modern image imaginary place somewhere in southern Scotland.
Stroley Central : A 4mm 00 gauge modern image layout.

T.
Taw Vale :  An unusual one this, a garden railway in 4mm scale 00 gauge. Just shows that it can be done, and done well too, judging from the photographs.
Tyvale :  Modern image loft layout.

Vilier Street : An innovative fuelling point and station layout, modern image EM gauge. Virtual Model Railway Exhibition : I have put this link on all the different scales pages because this site includes all of them. You could spend a lot of time on this site. Valkova Road : A new minimum space exhibition layout in 4mm scale. This model is built in a space of 7 feet by 2 feet and that includes the fiddle yard. W. Waltham : An exhibition layout based on the Thames Valley around 1964 - 68 depicting a freight only diesel branch line. Wells Green TMD : A diesel and electric era locomotive depot. Wibdenshaw : Portrays the approaches to a large station within an urban landscape. EM gauge. Wurzel Junction : A DCC operated layout somewhere on the northern section of the former Somerset & Dorset Railway. Y. Yoevil Pen Mill : A GWR period layout from the Weymouth MRA site.
