I've put a 3 mm yellow LED on the roof for a beacon and a couple of SMLEDs in the headlights.
Here's the wiring so far.
I've also glued the axles and ground a flat on each of the tyres.

It has an air intake and an exhaust stack, so yes, it's an IC engine.
Photos of the LPG tank and weathering coming. ;-)

Complete with unnoticed hair.
The paint need a bit more heating in the can. again.
Photos are killers.
The LPG tank was made from pieces of styrene tube glued together, with some Selleys Knead It pressed in from one side to make a convex bottom to the tank. The gas line is brass rod.

This shot helps to show how grinding off the bottoms of the tyres helps with the way they sit.

When I worked for Biffa they sprayed everything ' Biffa Orange' including Propane tanks - and me !
So Max, your tank looks just fine to me and, if you should want, even paint it pink coz that's what my missus would do AND tie a bow around it !

Always good to see a toy vehicle being smartened up to look realistic (there's the downside to HO: the common toy cars are S-scale and up). If I may make a suggestion.. You might want to re-do the fork assembly, rollcage, and chair. The plastic's sheen can still be seen through the weathering on those parts. They could use a matte or satin finish.
Also, you are going to paint that shifter at some point, yes?
