Experience of building my first etched brass kit
Latest update for the Horsebox - I finally primed the body with the etched primer, then a coat of Citadel Red primer, and top coat of Railmatch Crimson Lake via my airbrush. The roof is Citadel Grey primer and the chassis is matt black. I am just waiting for the decals to appear so I can finish off the model with a coat of varnish. Not sure whether to weather or not though!Ian
Keen eyed folks may note the coupling arrangement. Its my version of the O gauge Magclic downscaled for 4mm/ft. Its a 2mm x 2mm neodymium magnet glued to a 3.5mm long brass tube with a brass wire hoop. And yet, its works!! Uncoupling is simply pulling tyhe wagons/coaches apart, but no tools required.

A wonderful job especially as it is your first brass kit and a Falcon Kit.
My vote would go for weathering.

As I have already stated, for your first attempt at a brass kit your horsebox is outstanding. I can't wait to see what you do as you get better at this game! Especially as you gain more confidence.
