*Marty, pay attention here*

I found this site, handy for you lot doing the older British stuff ;-)

Now I looked in the index under D for Disused, O for Old, S for Stations and even U for Unused and I didn't see it, so

http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/  lots of interesting stuff

and Marty, the guys' next but one project is to do the Newcastle Emlyn Branch, so you might want to look in from time to time

Ah but you didn't look under 'Prototype' where all the prototype links are. You will find your link and another one next to it in the Forum Index.

PS. For some strange reason your link gives me a 404 error, not found but it looks exactly the same as the link I have put in. Strange.

So it does Bob, very curious.

From now on I will have to go all the way through the alphabet just in case

To be honest, the most important bit about it was the news for Marty about Newcastle Emlyn investigation, ah well:roll:

In case you are interested, there is an additional space character at the end of Lawrence's link which is why it does not work.

The original posted link gives a 404 not found error because there is a SPACE after the '/'
#

ie ******.co.uk/SPACE  Remove it and it works fine…

Very interesting news indeed, many thanks Lawrence, I have been to this site before but haven't done a revisit for a while. There is very little left of the Newcastle Emlyn station now, I know as I visited last year. A couple of sections of GWR spear fencing, some gate posts and some coal staithes was all I could find. Maybe they'll find more… I'll watch and see.
