The early beginnings of a new portable show layout

Really just a placeholder for now but I have taken a modest plunge and started to assemble some rolling stock for what is intended to be a modest and portable display. 

 I have in mind a single board about 1 x 0.5m therefore not dissimilar to my Boghouses N-scale layout. I still have a supply of track and the points which were recovered from that. 

The new venture will be in OO-9 using the N-scale track and possibly alongside a token length of (non-operational) OO track. Nine V-skips have arrived indicating a quarry might be involved. A small loco is due later in the year when released. I may even venture as far as a “Director’s Saloon” and invest in a passenger coach. 

This will be built alongside the existing Waddlemarsh layout and can be stored beneath it. 

In the future (quite far from now) the gold mines in Wombat Creek will be served by a small narrow gauge railway, so I will follow your progress with great interest.
