Nice pics Mickey

The tank engine and goods trucks look just right to shift rocks and wood from a quarry

I presume you scratchbuild all your buildings the one your wife is fixing the tiles on i presume is destined to be the local town hall or something

cheers Brian

Oooh, narrow gauge in the garden :mrgreen::mrgreen: I want one

Do you not need a finer ballast between the sleepers Mike:question

Yes at the moment the track is being lengthened (only a bit), I start with the white chippings to give a solid base then when the track is laid pour a finer grade over everything and work it in with a brush to embed the sleepers *exactly the same as ballasting with the PVA mix. Because it is supposed to represent an old tramway the sleepers have to be completely covered.

Great photos, and that looks like a nice scratchbuild of the town-hall as well, do you have any other photos of it, maybe as you were building it.
