As nothing seems to have appeared on this section of the forum for some time I thought that I would add a few photos of my attempt at a tentative re-entry into the field of 7mm Narrow Gauge.

This creation uses as a basis the Bachmann 0-4-0 'Greg' loco, which is now no longer available, but I managed to obtain one through a local Toy & Train fair for the sum of £15.00, the good thing about this chassis is that it has  descent looking valve gear.

This is the basic chassis with superstructure removed.

Mods done, couplings added and ready for a new Cab etc

Original boiler re-used and Cab, Tanks and footplate all added.

This is how far it has come to date and awaits painting when the weather warms up a bit!!

I am pleased with it so far and has just cost me the price of the chassis a few bits out of the scrap box and a few pieces of plasticard.

Must say it's looking good too Roy. Cheap, that's how I like 'em.

Hi Doug,

Not much really on this loco, awaits a coat of paint.

At present working on a freelance 0-4-0 saddle tank using a Bachman Bill/Ben Chassis which has valve gear, but unfortunately time is a little taken up with other things at the moment.

Will post a few pictures when I get a little further, thanks for the interest.
