Some very nice layouts on show and also a 'not what the exhibitor wanted at an exhibition', coupling hiccup with their tram…

Still, I suppose for a "railway city", you'd expect a few visitors.

I agree Bob - far too often, layouts with wonderful scenery ruined by trains running at a scale 500 mph :twisted::twisted: I don't know why they do it - with DCC slow running is one of the big advantages and even with DC, modern controllers offer excellent slow running capabilities.……………………………………….. What is interesting is the difference between those layouts that operate the trains at close to scale speeds vs the faster layouts. It really shows up in the film.

Tram layouts are even worse. Trams just don't look right charging along a street like racing cars. :roll:
I also wonder what kind of advertising they got for the couplings on that electric quarry shunter - didn't seem to want to couple at all …………..:roll:
