Its a horse cut out I think its a prototypical feature of the real place.

The horse is a real feature on Birmingham New Street Station. 

It's made of sheet metal. 

Jim will be able to tell us more.

I see there are a lot of YMR videos on utube which have nothing to do with us. Pity as I thought we were the only ones using those initials.

The horse is one of 12 by sculptor Kevin Atherton erected in 1987.  This sets the date of the layout as much as the predator poster on the bus stop or the WM Travel logos on the buses!
