I bought this set in Spain for about £40. I always wanted to try one out but they seemed a bit big to fit on a plane. This Christmas went by car so brought it back.

Really it is more toy than scale model. It was the printed tinplate body though that did it for me. I reckon around S scale/gauge although it is actually a plateway. Loco only has 4 wheels but the TALGO set up on this model is very accurate.

If you want an interesting souvenir from Spain then head to Toys are Us, although I think they are sometimes sold in big supermarkets.
