A few photos .

I went to the Stafford model railway show yesterday (Sunday) an excellent exhibition my first visit, definatelly to be repeated next year, weather wise Saturday it tipped it down with rain and a lot of cars got stuck in the mud and had to be dragged out by a landrover! any way heres a few pics, starting off with a 4mm model of a derelict Abbey, superb modelling of the finest order.

Next a personal favorite of mine, Freshwater, Isle of Wight in 4mm.

Next an 0 16.5 layout that was up for sale, I must admit I was very tempted!

Keiver Colliery, a fantastic 4mm industrial layout.

A few pics of O gauge layouts.

There were a lot more excellent layouts on show and I could have taken loads more if I could have got closer, all in all a very good if  a little tiring day.

Cheers, Pete.

it was already on fire when I got here, honest!

Sorry for not introducing myself Woody, such a big show with loads to see, I started out in the 3rd hall and worked my way back to the first hall where you were, but by then the place was heaving and getting to the front off some layouts was a pain at times! not to worry I will catch up at one or two of the other shows you are going to, we always do Spalding and definitely doing Warley again!

Hi Piran, can,t miss Warley, had a great time there.

Cheers Peter, yes that Abbey is something isn,t it! I was wondering if maybe the builder is into war gaming as those guys can produce some amazingly realistic looking dioramas?

Cheers, Pete.
