Yesterday Reg (Sparky) and I visited the Royston MR Exhibition, which  was held in a college, with layouts and traders spread over some 12  rooms. There were around 24 layouts as well as a good selection of trade  stands. The event was quite well attended.

I took along my camera and had every intention of taking pictures, but until it was about time to leave I forgot to use it

My  main interest at the moment is scenery, so I went around a few layouts  that caught my eye to capture the setting of the layouts. One that stood  out was Kadleigh, an 00 GWR themed branch line:

The next layout was a large city terminus station called Bradfield, with DCC sound and deep retaining walls, I thought it was very atmospheric. I liked the buildings set on a slope:

Finally, I liked this layout "Aldwych" as you don't often see layouts depicting central London. The owner was quite proud of his "3D" clouds - I didn't think that they worked very well:

I noticed the green was a darker shade than most ,in  m h o  it looked better .
The scenery was very good the hills had natural looking folds, some with a puddle or trickle in to a stream .
I thought it was best in the show.
