Mini-exhibition/open day

The Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers are presenting a mini-show/open day on Saturday 30th October at their club room, from 10.30 to 3.00.Venue: Sainsbury Community Hall, Sainsbury Road, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 8JZ


There will be approx 7 layouts, plus sales stands, displays an demonstrations. There will also be light refreshments and free parking right outside. It is advised to check closer to the date to ensure the event is going ahead, as Government guidance may vary from week to week/month to month. E/MAIL: nelhams66@yahoo.com

I wonder how many exhibitions will manage to make a comeback - I'd heard it was becoming increasingly difficult to cover costs in all but the largest of shows and for me, the large shows were just way too crowded to enjoy.

I've been to this show and met Dave as he comes from the same town as me.It's a very good show and well organised with plenty of parking or there was whe I went.

Ha, ha - I see what you mean about the telegraph pole!!! It was the only pic I had available at the time. I hope I didn't use too much superglue down the chimney otherwise I won't be able to remove it!!!! All the best!

Hi Alan,I just wanted to say that this isn't our usual full-blown exhibition - we can't hold that now until next year. But we wanted to do something positive, and this mini-show/open day will be ideal for everyone. The venue is our clubroom and will offer easy parking right outside.
When we do hold our next exhibition - EXMOOR RAIL - it will be our 10th anniversary show and will be on Saturday 6th August 2022 in our new venue, The West Somerset Community College in Minehead.


Anyway I hope to see you soon, and you would be most welcome at our mini-show/open day if you can make it.
