Paint stripper from Phoenix paints, apparently it can be used over and over again on our delicate plastic models.

Try Mr Muscle oven cleaner,put the items in a sealable bag spray the cleaner in the bag ,seal and leave overnight.
be careful, don,t breathe the fumes and wear gloves.
wash the items in soapy water. this works best with enamels.

That sounds like a good tip cobach and economical too, one of my favourite words is economical.
