My Local(ish) model railway emporium

Thought I would mention this emporium as it is a shop I have been using since opening in the 1970's.

Not just a box shifter either, this is a "proper" model shop selling kits and scratch building parts as well as RTR stuff.

I do have an ulterior motive for posting this though!

I was asked by the shops proprietor (Lucy) if I was willing to have some pictures of Pen Y Bont on the home page of their web site. Of course I agreed and you can view the results at
  Modellers Mecca

There are other customers layouts there too so you will have to dwell on the home page a few seconds before Pen Y Bont pops up.

Anyway, back to the shop.
I have always found the service here first rate and the staff helpful and friendly. Their prices are good too compared to the big box shifters like Hattons and Kernow.
well worth a look.

Thank's for the link Frank….:thumbs
I am looking to purchase a Farish 108 dmu blue/grey and found it 10.00 cheaper here than
from my local "Box Shifter".

Just be yourself…….
Cos those who matter don't mind,
And those who mind don't matter.

As its also the model shop I  have used most  in the past I can also vouch for the good service that Lucy and her team provide.

I like the new look web site . Lesspoint was featured on the previous one but has probably been taken off as I have not been in the shop for sometime for obvious reasons.

Richard. A sorely missed member who lost a brave battle in 2012.
