Header Photographs

I have decided that as from this week the header photograph will change weekly instead of every two weeks. The reason for this being that the quality of the modelling and photography has become so high on the forum that I have more pictures on the waiting list than can probably be shown in my lifetime if I stick to the two weeks. Also there are pictures that deserve to be shown purely because of the effort that has been put into the results and to encourage those who are perhaps not quite so skilled as others. So the jigsaw puzzle and the header picture will change at the same time in the future.

Good news Bob.

A Happy New Year to you and June.  Hope you're keeping reasonably well.

At least with all those header photos in the queue, it will guarantee you another 10 or 12 years ………..:cheers

Yes, there have been some excellent photos to date. Keep 'em coming, Bob.

A Happy New Year to all of you and your families.
:cheers

p.s. If you are doubling the frequency of the photo changes, why not double the frequency of the jigsaws too??     :cool wink

You have provided some great choices for the weekly photograph Bob, they really provide a nice opener for the forum.

Hi Bob,

Happy New Year to you, never too late ! Why not use the header photo as the jigsaw as well…? This way, you could occasionally surprise us and leave out the ghost image….

Cheers, Gary.

The header picture is not always suitable for a jigsaw as the colours may be too muted or not enough contrast to make them interesting. Not sure what you mean by the ghost image Gary.

Hi Bob,

First of all, I was certainly surprised when I logged in tonight to find you have nominated one of the pics from my layout. Many thanks,  my son (Jack) will be as surprised in the morning when I show him !!

Second, regarding the 'ghost' image on the jigsaw puzzles. I was referring to the half transparent back ground image of the jigsaw to be completed. There are a few jigsaws dated back where no ghost image was supplied with the game and they were labelled 'surprise'.

Cheers, Gary.

I remember now Gary, it seems I untick the 'Surprise' box now. Are they better now or the old way?

I guess you could always mix it up and occasionally give us a surprise with no ghost image… Just to make it that little more difficult, just like the 'little more difficult' one you posted up as an extra this week !

Cheers, Gary.
