How to change it

I've been finding it a bit awkward reading the Skype window, so I've  been hunting for a way to make the font bigger; I finally found where  it's hidden, I'd been looking in Tools\options\General but the crafty beggars had it in
 
 Tools\options\IM & SMS\IM appearance\change font,

I found the default was 6 point, changed now to 12 point.

In almost all Windows programs you can change the text size by holding down the Ctrl key and rolling the mouse wheel. Try it here in YMRC. :)

Yep, that's true in most cases,  also holding CTRL and  hitting plus or minus will do the same, however none of that works within Skype, the fix I listed does not affect the "contacts " window in Skype only the messages, but that's what I want to be able to read.
