Built as per the instruction sheet and shown here in it's pristime condition before any weathering has taken place. The first view is of the rail side and the second of the yard in general.

This final photograph is taken from the other end of the shed.

Here are some of mine, I like the 'dirty' approach, plus a few additions like 'step-ups' at the loading door, Rizla paper flashing and some home-made track doors etc. Seagull-poo on my chimneys is almost obligatory, courtesy of a dense white pencil that I stole from SWMBO's dressing table that she uses to whiten the underside of her finger nails. It can be sharpened with a pencil sharpener finely enough to write realistic 'chalk' messages on van sides;-)

Not happy with the roof-light construction/realism, that will have to be 'jobbed'!

DD, it does look like it has been built for some time now with exposure to the elements. Quite good indeed.

Nicely done Dooferdog, you can tell it's all in the details, that's what really sets them off.

Great weathering there DD :thumbs

If you think it's that easy to get away with brief "thingy out of my wife's make-up box", you're sadly mistaken.  We want a full "How I did it" report please.:roll:

No rush - tomorrow would be fine !!! :thumbs

Thank you for your kind remarks, Phil, Peter, I have to shove off  for UK at short notice tomorrow so I'm afraid it'll have to wait until I get back, not too sure how long I'll be away, but the pencil is called a 'Rimmel NailWhite ' pencil and will write surprisingly dense, fine white lines on most surfaces. It also does lovely smudgy things with a wet finger although my shed has been weathered with water colours, I promise I'll give chapter and verse when I can, even dig out the 'Provender Store' pics that have been mentioned elsewhere.

 Best wishes,

Dooferdog

That's great DD - hope your UK trip is just pleasure and nothing sinister !!

Saying that, it's good to see a growing number of ex-pats from France.  Are you near Mikeyh and me or the "up-market" part of France ?
