Very smart Owen. I like the look of that. Done a neat job. What glue do you us?.

I supose you could change it from a shop to say some office?. May be worth a look for my layout as a office in the corner somewhere, like a scrap yard, with shop at front for the bits and bobs for a car and the bilky bits in the yard at the back.

Very well built there Owen!

Metcalfe kits look good almost without exception and go together well in my experience.

I do like the prospect of fish and chips for 1/9 as well ….. it's been a few years since I was able to get them at that price!   That's a shade under 9p for those of you reading in metric

But that's what you used to pay and your meal was wrapped in newspaper as well.

:doublethumb Now that is a super piece of modelling, Owen! Impressive stuff. Have you ever tried weathering the Metcalfe models and if so, what do you use?

Cheers :cheers

Terrific stuff Owen. Metcalf stuff really is good and you've built a great little number. We have ventured into sound but wouldn't it be fabulous if we could do "smell" decoders as well.:thumbs

Very nice Owen - could quite imagine nipping in there for a fish supper out the newspaper.

Les - not sure about the smell decoders - it would probably mean that no-one would ever model a sewage works , farmyard, glue factory or gas works again !

A good sturdy model there Owen and it sits very well on your layout. :thumbs

I think the Metalfe kits are great if you need to build either quickly or lots of the same thing.  Unfortunately, I don't think they do that corner unit in stone yet and all mine need to be West Riding / Pennine stone.
