Metcalfe has upgraded the kit

The Country station kit is available again, now in upgraded form.

The kits have always been excellent in my opinion so I am very impressed that Metcalfe still does improve them further.

This time the Country station got the improvement treatment.:thumbs

E-mail them Brian and you might get what you want. It's worth a try and there should be extra sales for them.

Good idea Bob will do that , it just seems a shame that you have to buy another station kit just to use the shelter :hmm

Why not scan & print the shelter parts first, glue them to card just like a Scalescenes job.

That's a good idea Ron. For the price of one kit you can produce all different kinds of models using the reproduced bits and pieces of it. That's a heck of a money saver.

One of my BRMA friends here in South Aust models 3mm so he re-scans Metcalfe down to a smaller scale.

What happens to the white lines on the corners?
Do folks fill and paint them?

Aaaww, Ron,

I din't know you were a 'Young Doodler', if so, I wonder what an old one looks like????

[I bet Mrs Ron bought them for him…see below from web site link!]

"Washable Super Tips Markers feature a versatile tip that draws both thick or thin lines.

Crayola's washable ink is specially formulated to easily wash from skin and most children's clothing.

Crayola Doodling Markers feature fine line tips and classic and bright colors.

They were developed specially for young "doodlers"."

However, scroll down to

Only if you get caught, he he.

On a more serious note though, IMHO you would only have copyright issues if you sold copies.( maybe wrong, I,m no lawyer ).

John.
