Hello, i cast my mind back to an article in a hornby magazine about making a poppy field but i can't find it at the moment, but the method you have described seems to be the most logical one, Kind Regards

If you can get any of those "binder re-inforcement rings" Jim - they were used to strengthen the hole punched in paper for ring binders - they might make a good base for the wreath - with a bit of cardboard sandwiched between two of them ……

Then for the poppies, try to find some coloured scatter material - used to simulate fruit on trees etc. or even dyed coarse sawdust.  Poppy wreaths, if I remember rightly, have very little greenery on them - just the poppies - so I think flock may be too fine.

p.s. well done for tackling a medium that is all reading and writing if you're dyslexic - spelling or not, we understand what you mean. :thumbs

Hi thanks for the advice in the end I used a small signs freat from their road sign set. Covered in flock with red paint added in places. Hope you like as I consider it will look ok set in the centre of a 6x4 layout.
