Made to run on code 75 track
Triang Utility/luggage van.I like the fact that all the doors opened so I fitted modern bogies and scale wheels..Not bad for about £5 total and a little weathering…..Result!

Did the windows have the white grills already ???????
Would have been a right royal pain in the Buttocks to get them so straight if one did it for ones self…
The only thing I can see wrong is that its not painted green and doesn't have GWR on the side ??????

Alan, the Triang / Triang-Hornby vans did come with the white printed window grilles, although they very rarely lined up properly out of the box. It didn't take much to correct this though.
They were never a completely accurate model, being a hybrid of two designs but they still looked the part and, as such, found their way onto many 'scale' layouts.
I have quite a few myself, including a couple that are being modified with Roxey Mouldings' brass etches and other detailing bits.

Having said that, I do like that van as it is too, it looks really good.
