Scratch built after looking at various pictures and I came up with my own idea…Using the windows and doors I had in my boxes..

I like to think it capures the look.






The white stuff in the windows is 'Glue and Glase' I find it brilliant, as specially when you want some missing panes of glass..



A little touching up to be done,  But I am quite pleased so far..

Who's plasticard and window frames ?

Well done looks just like the ones at the bottom of our road on the ex Markham colliery site now used as industrial units, still at least they haven,t been demolished, a great job you should be proud.:pathead  Pete.

Do you have plans for any more weathering?

Looks good to me Alan, a light wash of dirty grey or a dusting of weathering powders will finish it off nicely unless you want the freshly painted look.

Hi Petermac.
                    The windows are mainly brass glazing bars I bought from Mainly Trains some years ago and the rest are left over from a peco/wills pack and the doors came from a rumage box at Doncaster Toy and Train Fair.
                    At the moment I am converting Diecast to get the coal away…Here is a little Treat…

                 We had to wash ours down every day before filling up, But that was Glover's in 1981. But at the moment they are waiting for there Pre delivery inpections and three of them have not been licenced yet ..Ha ha…
