Well in keeping with my industrial loco's I gave into the Sentinel 0-4-0  , And on occasion I wished I had not…It is delicate and great care is  needed to get into it. You have to remove the motor to get the  capacitor. Then you have to ensure the motor sits properly or the motor  jams…I also had to remove the axles and ease out the pickups to give good contact , And the track has to be clean, I am pleases with how it runs….Now it's done and chipped I hope I don't have to go inside for a  long time…

I tried to get a video into my post but with no luck. But there are a few on Youtube

It is a bit annoying that Hornby chose to provide for a 4-pin decoder. Even so, Paul Chetter even managed to shoehorn a Zimo sound decoder and speaker into his Sentinel, and this is documented in a recent Model Rail issue.

They do look like nice models and I have been tempted several times to order one but I have resisted … so far! However, if Hornby, or someone else, announces an 0-6-0 version of the Sentinel, I'll be grabbing one before you can say "Jack Robinson!", even if it means a repaint into London Transport livery.
