At my large station of Tawnton, I have a Flour mill which is going to be enlarged.

with an additional building at the rear

that is to the left of the existing building.

At the same time. a diesel fuel depot ( larger than the black tank just sitting there) for the power generation supply, etc   to go in using some parts of this kit

and grain silos next to the hoppers, using this

Hopefully ready for the next group visit in 2013 !!

It must be nice to be adding buildings and facilities to the sidings that, until now, have had a name and reason but nothing other than bare base boards to play with?

Great stuff, looking forward to seeing it for real.

What make is the flour mill Sol ?

Looks like you've got some useful, if expensive, kits to build.  It will be interesting to see how the grain silos go together……

The actual flour mill was built out of balsa and card by my mate Robbo who decided he no longer needed it & before he scrapped it, I saved from death!
When I build the silos, etc photos will be  dumped into here.

The trackwork as per the following photo is going to be modified
to allow for a carriage siding to happen.

The track to the right of the van body will shift to the left ( possibly just straighten up )  - van body will be removed  & the fence will also move to the left  a bit & let that short siding be extended for the carriages.

An easy job I hope - the fence will be the hardest bit…

Forget the above - too convoluted in shunting & the crew member who suggested the basic idea in the first place has agreed with my later suggestion that only involves changing names for some storage tracks - will make life easier for the Tawnton shunters.

I thought you were going to say the crew member who suggested the basic idea in the first place had been suitably punished !!!
