Thanks! Not quite, but £500 to spend on their website is pretty good!

My prize for the model shot arrived this week. A rather nice model of a Swallow class 91, four coaches and the DVT. Came with a rather nice plinth to display a loco on.

Belated congratulations, Chris. Will you still talk to us mere modelling serfs?

Cheers Pete.

Late to the party again, sorry Chris!
I'm not at all surprised that you were successful with you competition photo, congratulations. Your modelling is of a consistently high standard and your attention to representing the real world in model form is excellent.

I look forward to seeing the new station area develop, the track work looks smooth and prototypical.

Oh and well done for rescuing the hedgehog, you DID rescue it I hope?

Cheers

Was that your choice of model Chris or was that a fixed prize ?  You said you had £500 to spend on their website - had you forgotten they make some really good LNER locomotives and rolling stock ………………..?  :mutley

Can we still add colour? I miss the random colours!

After a bit of time off on the layout I’ve been having some fun playing with it and planning future work.

You can change colours when using 'Reply' Chris, but not in 'Quick Reply'

Nice pictures, not sure what the '
daily upload quota of 30MB' message is all about.

It is never too early for introduction to the "Railway".

"One day all of this will be yours"

"What…the BBQ?" A misquote but seems relevant.

I hope the youngster was suitably impressed.

I don’t seem to have any buttons on the standard reply, just a big white box and an area at the bottom for attachments.

Got to admit, the speed of the forum is putting me off a little. Plus the attachment limit.

Hehe, he can have the BBQ one day!

Let’s see how many photos I’m allowed today…

Flagged this quota error yesterday Chris, with admin breakage

Thought it was an old problem that had already been fixed.

You could try posting pictues in more than one Quick Reply

Totally agree about the speed, was driving me mad this morning

It also has been mentioned as a problem.
