Early construction of a simple 00 garage layout

Under the boards this evening wiring up another point motor.

Bit of a maze under there! Got another two to go in and I think I’m done! Getting quite good at fitting them now.

I’ll leave you with a late running service with a few any passengers heading into Teasel Bay this evening

Lying in bed, I could hear an unusual noise of scratching. Seems a hedgehog had found it’s way in while I was working and must have remembered where it came in as it was scratching away! Good job we had the window open otherwise it would have been stuck there a while.

Work continues on Norcott station. I’ve all but one point has a motor so the inner three tracks are now powered along with the pilots siding. Need a trip back to GEMs for another motor.

I’ve enjoyed moving the class 08 and 101 around into different positions.

Last night saw some testing of various train lengths through the finished track sections of Norcott station. A few niggles which need addressing but for the most part worked well.

Here is a Timelapse taken during the testing. I need to add some music from Benny Hill…

I finally decided to do something with the foam trees I bought well over a year ago. Cited first with brown spray paint and then glue with various leaf effects.

The trees are now dotted around the bay, they disappear quickly. I need to make a few more batches. Farmer Jacks pumpkin field has also returned. Also caught a steam special passing by.

I really liked this one of the 47 passing through the sweeping countryside.

After a trip to GEM’s for supplies, more people have joined the Teasel population.

On the other side of the layout I have my last point motor for the station junction. I’ve bought some platform sides in the form of Peco concrete as well as various pieces of plastercard to make a prototype station canopy.

Sadly, I operate in a "social media free" environment here so you'll have to accept a virtual vote from me.
