Looks like it  should upload from your iPad if it's  .mp4  format.

Tried .AVI format and it doesn't work from my laptop, only .mp4  format.




 

How do you select mp4 format on iPad?

It's the file format Phil, what is the .(dot) extension of  the file?

If I remember right, there's a 'Files' app to search for files

Clicking on the file alone doesn't give any clues as to what it is.

Think the video file needs to be MP4 format to be uploaded to the forum.

What your Apple iPad/iPhone video file format is I  don't know. (got rid of my Macbook years ago, because of similar problems)

I can only suggest you upload it to Youtube, Flickr or some similar hosting service and then use a link to it on here Phil, unless someone on here using Apple knows a way of changing the file format to MP4.

Strange, I get “uploading” then “complete” then nothing ? I tried from my Windows 10 pc and the same but that was when the forum had gone pear shape, I’m in Tenerife now but I’ll try again when I’m back home.

I use a mac and am wondering if you could re- save the file as .MP4.

As I previously suggested, the easiest way is to upload the video(s) to YouTube, Flickr or some other hosting site and just do a link to the forum.

There then won't be any compatibility problems with the forum and it will also save forum storage space.

A quick video with an iPhone

Very nice. Looks just like a breakers yard.

The trouble with using a phone is that because it's so close to the model, the depth of field is tight, so the screen has to be tapped at different areas to focus.

An amazing layout.  I am particularly impressed with the realistic stonework of the bricked up arch in the background.
