A Grotty Washroom - Stu's words !!
As this is supposed to be a project for others to join in with, are there any takers for creating an odd little scene as a modelling exercise ?

A bit more detail in the header tank,
and a poster which hopefully plants the idea that this is, in fact, a railway related convenience…

Come on chaps. Stu has shown the way with great results and hardly any cost at all, either in time or cash. Nice work Stu by the way, nice but disgusting. As this is supposed to be a project for others to join in with, are there any takers for creating an odd little scene as a modelling exercise ?

Is the project just for fun or is there an exhibition in mind and is it based on those found in Wales or Cornwall ? (Actually, it could be Leicester Forrest Services ……….)

The model is partly for fun, partly to do something different to practice weathering (!), and mainly for the Model Rail / other forum 2011 Challenge ( which is any railway related diorama in a 20 x 11 inch footprint).
There was also a thread asking 'what was the grottiest toilet anyone had modelled', so I just joined the ideas together.

What colour paint did you ask for in the model shop?
Not exactly sure what you mean, DD…
The paints are a mixture of Wickes tester pots for the walls, and a cheap set of watered down acrylics (£3) from Tescos for the floors and general grime.
The tiles were an off white gloss enamel.

Well, yes, there might have been some of that… but I chose my words carefully as I'd like to back there sometime and collect my BWT.
I really needed more greens and browns - GWR Chocolate doesn't have the right sound, somehow, for what I wanted to use it for…
