For our second monthly project Doug has kindly designed  'A DIY modern office building flat back-scene building to fill that blank spot on your layout' and will post here soon.

Good luck to all those that try this project and a big thank you to Doug for running it, over to you Doug

Er … I would say most will not have a blank spot for a Modern office building but I dare say the steam from the locos will hide it!

Look forward to seeing this.

I will very shortly be posting a new thread in this section entitled 'A DIY office block backscene' which you will be able to make for your layout.

You will need some Cornaflako Packeto, Pritt-stick, an A4 sheet of brick texture paper of whatever colour you fancy, a sharp modelling knife/small scissors and you should be on your way to produce a personalised copy of the 'Flat-scene' below.

Good luck,

Doug

Typical of many buildings you can see when travelling the rails through commercial areas. Nice one Doug.

Not at all, we all manage with our 'John Bull' printing outfit No.5, you know the one with Christmas Holly leaves AND red and blue ink……..

Now how many of us remember those, and the silly little tweezers that kept squashing flat……and NOW, how many of us had one with a wooden print holder, not the plastic one………

Me too - I had one.  always getting into trouble because the ink got everywhere in those silly little flat ink-pad tins.   But those really were the days. :thumbs
