[Separated from DIY office thread]

Hi, all,

I've sliced this off the DIY office block thread in case it appeals to other members who don't want the office block and haven't gone back there.

It should make up into a variation on this

with a corrugated roof line, by clicking on the pdf link below, printing out onto A4 paper and gluing as needed onto suitable brick texture paper.

The window surrounds in the example above are the same colour as the brick paper. Yet the windows. we actually cut out from the PDF file are surrounded by yellow brick…………what is the secret that I am missing?

Sorry John,

My PDF prints out in a pinky-red brick, I wonder why yours are yellow? I remember the other print-out for the office was on yellow brick…

What's the backscene - a photo ?
Peter - it is actually a photo of a hill behind Exeter St Davids which I took when I was doing some research for my layout.

I suppose I should report that when I went back to the previous post to check this backscene, the photo has disappeared. How strange!

I've had about an hour and a bit this evening, and produced this :

It still needs weathering and a name board over the door (to hide the fact there is no lintel…) but it's a nice little project to do - thanks Doug !

Nice work, Stu!  I'm glad that it has appealed to you, now others will pick up on your idea and use/improve on it and so on.

Remember, everyone, it costs pence, and another version will cost only pence more plus a little bit of time, so instead of taking the Lear Jet down to Nova Scotia this afternoon, do a 'Doofer'!
