Last night I was flicking through some old rail mags when I found a pic of 2 DRS 37's crossing the viaduct at the top of Morcambe bay. With the YMR modular layout in mind I thought that this would be an easy module for someone. In the backscenes section HP has posted some backscenes one of which is a river estury. So by using this it would be possable to recreate the scene in 12" x 36" space. All is needed is a length of ply for the bridge deck and the piers. In one of the model rail mags I have seen a sheet of water (possably faller?) for the base then plasticard to build the bridge round the plywood deck. Any takers?? ;-)

It was in the september 2005 etd of a mag called entrains. Not a well known mag and tbh carn't remember buying it. Pic is on page 36 captioned Eskmeals viaduct so it might actualy be further up the coast that I thought. Theres another similar idea on page 48 of Manningtree viaduct on the great easten. I can scan both the pics if you want to PM your email address. ;-)
