Great Eastern Models Virtual Box File Challenge

The Great Eastern Model Shop Box File challenge is back for 2021 and from the offset this time its virtual, so its open to all you guys who are not local to Norwich. Anything goes as long as it fits in a boxfile. Display it on the Great Eastern Models Facebook Page on Friday 7th May for your chance to win £50 of shop vouchers.

I really enjoyed it last year, it was fun to take myself away from the constraints of Teasel!

It may be virtual but being a Yank still disqualifies me

I'm sure you can still take part. It may be hard to collect your winnings though but I know someone in the UK who would gladly take the voucher off your hands! :mutley

He's talking about me  -  Thanks Chris!   ;-)
I have plenty of old track and probably even a box file….. just need some imagination to go with them and I might have a go myself

Well, problem is getting an A4 boxfile here in the 'States.

Curse you Brits and your screwy paper sizes!

You don’t have A4!? But it’s standard!

Is that related to Brexit? That is unfair, Boris and the bus told everyone it would be great :brickwall

The boxfile is unimportant…. get the best fit!!!

We do have A4 here in France Chris - it's just the States that are out of step - just like their pints and gallons are different to ours !

Are you going to have a go? Even if you don’t enter it, it’s good because you aren’t confined by the ‘rules’ of your layout!

I'm considering it Chris.

From past experience, if I start now, I may get it done in time for next year …… :hmm :cheers

I've just visited the facebook page (in Chris's first post) to check any rules.  I really must visit more often as it has some great stuff on there and a lot of contributors.  I will have to order some stuff from the shop too…

They have a selling page too, with new and seconds. It is my favourite group as they are very helpful and the content is quite varied. The owner Anne does a very good job of interacting rather than pushing sales.

Try the Recommendations page. That is where the information is. https://www.facebook.com/groups/177371052954488/permalink/732149314143323/

There isn’t much more on the page though, other than the image I uploaded. As long as it’s within the spirit of the competition it is allowed.
