Good service

Less than 24 hours delivery, a selection of static grass and foliage material, and 4 rolls of plaster cloth.

My third order from

New Modellers Shop

They do all the big names but also the 'Javis' range of materials, comparatively inexpensive and in smallish packs so that you can try out something without spending too much money…Oooh, feel faint now  , that 'M' word follwing the 'S' word.

Indeed, I have used them myself.  Newmodellersshop.co.uk
They don't supply Bachmann items, though.

I haven't bought from them (yet) but do know of them.

It's a strange situation with Bachmann - I've come across other shops that don't supply their products - maybe their stocking requirements are high.  I do wonder what their fall-out with Hattons is costing both Hattons and Bachmann.  I understand the fall-out was to do with Hattons manufacturing their own products but then that could be just rumour …………

Good to see you're back from your hols Michael - I trust you had a good time.   :thumbs

My understanding is that Hattons starting selling Bachmann at pricepoints lower than those stipulated by Bachmann.  Manufacturers will allow some wiggle room to allow for bulk sales or local club deals etc but will get annoyed when prices are regularly abused - it is not fair on other outlets.

Years ago I ran a small O gauge box-shifting business online when online was a new "thing".  I remember Parkside Dundas saying that I could discount to a certain level but if I abused it, they would never supply again.  Direct, fair, clear.  Everybody toed the line and PD shifted plenty of units.

Sorry to hijack the thread  :Red Card.  I'll say no more.

Cheers Pete.
