How do they long do they remain springy
Hi all. I have seen an add for brass tweezers, could come in handy? When working with magnetic parts.But, but how long will they remain springy? Best wishes Kevin

I haven’t thought about the Christmas video yet, but maybe I should! I’ll have to roll out the station lights and the tree soon. Remembrance first though…

Springiness depends on the grade of brass used. Decent pair will outlive us all.

In that case go for surgical grade SS items. And only around £30-£40 for a pair of fine tweezers. Hope you have a big budget.
Most cheap SS tweezers, scalpels, forceps, dental pics, etc, come from Pakistan.
I'm using SS tweezers that are 35 years old. Still going strong. Not sure why you would want or even consider brass.

Life's way to short for that Kevin - just pop down to the Pound Shop and buy some tweezers. I doubt any members on here have brass tweezers simply because they're not magnetic - or I'd guess, for any other reason. :roll:

When/ If you can, look for and buy old but good quality tools, you wont be dissapointed
