Thats right Ive got prostate cancer. I also have heart failure, diabetes, and chronic kidney failure.

Hey it happens I am just fighting and making the best of things.

Im taking bets on what gets me first though I dont know how you will collect if you win.

Hey David that's really tough on you but the treatments available these days can cure it so don't give up hope mate.

I'm sure you'll be in the thoughts of all members.

Too late, it has metastatised into the bones on my left side.

Still  the quack is hopful the hormone therapy will work.

By the way you know how you make a hormone?

You dont pay her.

My thoughts are with you mate, Here's hopeing the treatment will assist in sorting this out for you.
Sounds like you have enough on your plate with out this as well.
Having been thro a major traumatic experience my self this year I really do understand and sympathise with you

On the plus side at least you havn't lost your sence of humour, now that is always good….

As a member on here for years back in the Barchester days, i don't reply much just watch and read for now.

I can sympathise with you mate. I am going through similar stuff and have been for a year or so, trust me things do get brighter in a strange way. If you ever want to talk PM me mate.
Also read Bob,s journey its very enlightening, i have read it several times during my bad times and it do help.

I'm not sure how to answer this one David - "sorry to hear" doesn't seem much coming from a stranger but it really is true.

As Trevor said, you'll be in our thoughts.

Sometimes, one wonders who's pulling the strings ………….

As has already been said, at least you still have your sense of humour - that's important in difficult times.

Sorry to hear about your ailments  David, a very good friend of mine was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Thankfully after a lot of treatment and help he is fighing through it. I know I feel rough some days with the diabetes and the osteoporosis, so I can sort of imagine how you must feel. 

Keep your chin up Dave. My thoughts are with you mate.
