Strictly speaking the answer would be no. However the 08's were developed from an original LMS design. 14 shunters based on the LMS design were built for the War Department (should probably be really War Office to be accurate) from 1945 onwards. They became Class 11 in BR days. 
So a fair bit of artistic licence here but it was the day before the first of the SVR's 1940's weekends!

Is that an 08? the roof profile seems rather flat, unless it was one of the cut-down ones for the Burry Port - Gwyndraeth line (apologies if my spelling is out a bit).

Regardless of that, they are nice photos. :cool:
